WELCOME TO MELATTINGAL SIVA TEMPLE

Melattingal SIVA Temple മേലാറ്റിങ്ങൽ ശിവ ക്ഷേ(തം is one of the most famous temples in South India. The main deity worshiped is Mahadevan; Lord Siva. He seeking eternal salvation form the bonds of Karma and solace from the evils of Kaliyuga. The shrine is situated in historical place named Melattingal near to the Poovanpara Bridge which is located south of Attingal Town in Thiruvananthapurm District which is the capital district of God’s own country - Kerala. The circular 'Srikovil' (sanctum Sanctorum) of Sri Mahadevan is a good example of ancient temple architecture. Another nearest towns are Alamcode, Chirayikeezhu, Kadakkavoor, Varkala, and Kilimanoor.
